Describe a real situation — a job interview, a doctor's visit, ordering coffee abroad — and Kanumi writes you 30 example sentences for it, then helps you remember them.
What it does
- Scenario to sentences. You type the situation you're preparing for. Kanumi returns 30 example sentences, grouped into 5 short sections, with a translation in your own language.
- Spaced repetition. Sentences and words you keep come back for review on a schedule, so they move into long-term memory instead of being read once.
- Explanations in your language. The interface and all meanings are available in English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
No ads, no tracking, no data sales. The app ships with no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no third-party trackers. We do not sell or share personal data. See the Privacy Policy.
Email we send
Kanumi sends transactional email only — messages you triggered yourself by taking an action in the app. We do not send newsletters, promotions, product announcements or any other marketing email, and we do not have a mailing list.

How we keep our list clean
- We only ever email an address that someone typed into the app moments before. There is no imported list, no purchased list and no scraped address.
- An address is only confirmed as belonging to a user after they enter the code we sent to it. Unverified addresses do not receive anything else.
- Requests are rate limited per address and per IP, and each address has a daily cap.
- Bounces and complaints are processed automatically. A hard bounce or a spam complaint puts the address on a suppression list, and we stop sending to it immediately.
- Because every message is a code the user is waiting for, there is nothing to unsubscribe from. To stop all email, delete your account — see Delete account.
